Millennials (ages 25-34) spend the most dining out, averaging $95 per week. 43% of millennials eat out for convenience while 49% eat in restaurants because they provide social settings for them to spend time with friends and family.

Respondents with an income between $50,000 and $60,000 eat out the most with an average of 4 times per week while those who earned an annual salary of $40,000 to $50,000 per year spent the most money eating out (roughly 12.25% to 15.31% of their income).
